It's a bit cramped... But that's where my complaints end haha. The bartenders are knowledgeable, the drinks are great, and the atmosphere and bartenders is really nice. As a plus, the shiny prize has won several unofficial "Quests for the best." Where a group I am with, picks a drink for the night and hits as many bars as we can trying to see who has the best version.

Shiny Prize is hands down one of the best bars in Washington that I have ever been. The cocktails are perfectly balanced and the music is always top tier. The bar team that Tim has curated are so personable and always fun. Never a bad time!

Shiny Prize in Oly is an absolute gem. I’ve been to a lot of places in Olympia and worked in customer service jobs for years so for me customer service is a must. SP never disappoints. It’s the PNW of Cheers. I roll in with my wheelchair or walker and despite it being small, I have a place. Shiny knows my name, friends, they know care. They’re humans, the best humans. I love local businesses. You can’t go wrong walking or rollin’ into SP. Check out these trophies! Curious? Stop in!

Shiny Prize offers an exceptional experience with artfully crafted cocktails and attentive service from a single, skilled bartender who manages to keep everyone well taken care of. The decor is vibrant and modern, creating a pleasant ambiance. While the music was a bit loud for a daytime visit, the genre was excellent. Overall, it’s a charming, intimate spot perfect for a lunch date.

I really enjoy coming here for drinks if I’m able to snag a spot! Drinks are always so tasty and the bartender here are very lovely and kind! Came to leave a review and say an extra thank you to the two bartenders who helped ward off an unwanted and strange interaction for my friends and I the other evening- much appreciated. Always will recommend!

I hesitate to drop a review because this cocktail bar is exactly what Olympia has needed FOR YEARS! Tim and his team have elevated craft cocktails to the next level. The panini press is where Bryce used to cut my hair, so that’s weird. Great use of the old barber shop space. Super fun. Unpretentious. Great high end bourbonses too. When a bartender can hand you a drink on fire, with confidence, that is what I am looking for! Great flare and fun! The taste of the drinks are spot on and love the true vibe of Prohibition, hardly even a light on! You could miss the spot if you blinked walking by but what a treasure it was to find! HIGHLY recommend! Food was the true bonus too! Try the grilled cheese jalapeno popper!

This funky little bar is absolutely fantastic. Their small plates are just right to accompany the high end, boutique cocktails here. It's just a delightful location with the right amount of elegance and quirkiness. Staff are generally pleasant and attentive, without interfering with the conversation. But if you're solo, they don't want anything to do with you, it seems. The martini presentation was spectacular, as were all the other cocktails. Manhattan was gorgeous. The Earl Grey 'the Gin Gimlet' is a m a z i n g. One of the consistently best craft cocktails in town.
